We are taking a look at some of the best new shows in London which can all be booked through London Box Office
Hello Dolly starring multi Olivier and BAFTA Award-winning Imelda Staunton will be at the London Palladium between the 6th July - 14th September. Most people will be familiar with the 1969 film version of Hello Dolly starring Barbra Streisand, however the musical version came first in 1964 with Carol Channing taking on the role of the meddling matchmaker. This is one show that I cannot wait to see!
“Dolly Levi is one of the great characters in musical theatre, and I can’t wait to join the company in bringing our new production to the iconic London Palladium.”
- Imelda Staunton
Mean Girls struts into the Savoy Theatre from the 5th June - 16th February 2024 bringing The Plastics, Regina (Georgina Castle), Gretchen (Eléna Gyasi) and Karen (Grace Mouat) together to rule the roost at North Shore High. With an established fanbase all ready and waiting to see this Broadway smash-hit, it's safe to say that this will be totally fetch!
Standing at the Sky's Edge is playing at the Gillian Lynne Theatre until the 3rd August 2024. This Olivier Award-winning show has won the hearts of many, including mine, with its dramatic, fast paced and musically beautiful show based on the now famous Park Hill estate in Sheffield over three different decades. With music and lyrics by Richard Hawley and book by Chris Bush, this show will steal your heart and leave you wanting more. Make sure you see it before it leaves!

Kiss Me Kate starring Adrian Dunbar and Stephanie J. Block heads to the Barbican Centre, London from the 4th June - 14th September 2024. Directed by Bartlett Sher, this show is set to be 'Too Darn Hot', so 'Brush Up Your Shakespeare' and get your tickets booked here
Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) following on from its success at the Kiln Theatre has now taken up residency at the Criterion Theatre where it has already received an extension until the 31st August 2024. Sam Tutty & Dujonna Gift star in this heart-warming rom com guaranteed to leave you feeling like you've had your cake and eaten it!

Starlight Express chugs into the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre from the 8th June 2024. This Andrew Lloyd Webber musical has not been seen in the UK since 2012 and I for one cannot wait for this spectacle to hit the tracks over the Summer. Already having received an extension due to the sheer volume of ticket sales, Starlight Express tells the story of a group of diesel engines competing against each other to win the championship. Some may say its quite a bonkers concept, however for a show that has been seen by over 20 million people worldwide, it's definitely going to be 'Pumping Iron' in London very soon!
